The Lower Catch Handle is a replacement part for the Jumbo MK2, MK3 and Hyperstat range of brick machines. This part catches and holds the inner arms in place when lifting the stamper unit of the mould. The wear risk is mostly at the point of contact on the kidney hook. This is a difficult part to replace because there is little room for fasteners and the thus the handle is welded to the kidney hook. A replacement lower catch handle comes in two parts - the catch handle and the kidney hook. The old catchment must be cut away with a cutting disc and the new hook welded to the handle in place. This part is currently under design review and likely to change in coming months to make replacement easier.
